Please contact CAS Manager Karl Hovey directly to reserve the clubhouse. Provide the date of your event to inquire if it's available. The clubhouse reservation agreement may be found on the Forms page.

Please note the following information: Your reservation request isn't final until Karl Hovey, CAS Manager, receives the reservation form and it is fully completed. You may send your form via e-mail, mail or in-person office drop-off.  If two homeowners are interested in reserving the clubhouse on the same day, whoever completes the form and sends it to Karl first will get the reservation that day.

Additional Reminders

-Don't forget to send your payment once your date is confirmed.

At this time, access to the pool and clubhouse are for HOA members only.

If you need a new pool keycard, please reach out directly to Karl Hovey, CAS Manager. He will be able to help you get a new keycard, including processing any associated fees. Please note that requesting a new pool keycard can take up to three weeks.

Front Steps is the community management platform that CAS, Pirates' Cove HOA's management company, uses for a variety of purposes. Please visit the Front Steps page, linked under the menu, for answers to commonly asked questions. If your question is still not answered, please reach out to the Board for help.

Most commonly used documents can be found on the Forms page. The Front Steps portal has Board meeting minutes, reserve study information and other helpful documents not available on the website. Visit this page to learn more about Front Steps, the resident community portal.

See the Forms page for rules and request information for both Townhomes and Detached (Single Family) homes. You can also find all forms, rules and policies on the Front Steps portal for both Townhomes and Single Family homes. For an architectural request, please submit the proper form and accompanying materials to Karl Hovey, CAS manager.

Pool rules are updated each season and can be found on the "Forms" page of the website and the Front Steps portal. Pool rules and hours will be announced prior to the beginning of the each pool season.

In November 2023, the Board approved a major renovation for the pool to begin after the 2024 summer season. The pool renovation project included replacing the failing retaining wall that is adjacent to the creek behind the pool. This project also included renovations to the pool itself which are routine items that need to be done every 20 years or so with concrete pools. Pool Professionals of Raleigh was awarded the business for the project and it was completed shortly before the 2025 pool season.

Townhome and Single Family homeowners may report maintenance issues via the Front Steps portal or by directly contacting the Board or CAS manager, Karl Hovey.

The Pirates' Cove Single Family Homeowners assessments are due every quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1). Townhome assessments are due each month. Assessments can be paid by e-check on the CAS portal at http://www.casnc.com/ or by using the coupon book provided by CAS each year. If paying using the coupon book, please mail your check to the address listed in the coupon book.
